Jane Galloway
Jane graduated from Elam with honours in 1976, majoring in oil painting. She remained in the creative area but it was not until 1999 that she was able to paint full time.
Specialising in watercolour landscapes of some scale, she quickly developed a popular following. Her subject matter is mainly the wildness and emptiness of the West Coast near her home in Raglan before it is all lost to progress.
Whether working in watercolour or acrylics on canvas, her results are breathtaking.
