Rodney Hamel
Rodney is a specialist and a teacher of art history and from this he draws his inspiration. He is in constant exposure to 20th century art and in particular New Zealand landscape painting.
Rodney lived in the Waikato for many years and painted the local landscape with strong evocative colour and often using hessian as a canvas giving extra dimension to his work. He now resides in Otago.
