A Fresh Start - Lake Rotorua

A very tranquil soothing painting of Lake Rotorua but it could be any lake at sunset.   I just loved all of the beautiful colours and how this image made me feel.  I just love how the tree languishes into the water but doesn’t distract from the beauty beyond.

There’s nothing more special than taking the time to view a beautiful sunset and I hope this is how it makes the viewer feel.

I’m always drawn to paintings of water and to see the reflections and the tranquillity that this brings.  In particular I love to paint sunsets and especially when they reflect into the water.
