ANN SKELLY BA Hons
Full time Artist living on Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf, painting mainly in acrylics on canvas.

Ann originally studied in the UK receiving her Bachelor of Arts and Design majoring in ceramics. Emigrating to New Zealand in the late eighties.
Since then she has worked collectively in ceramic design, illustration and as a painter. Ann was mesmerised by the World of Wearable Art, and has produced twelve finalist garments to date, also enjoying a short stint working creatively at Weta Workshop, while living in Wellington.
Waiheke Island is the place Ann and husband Richard have called home for many years now where Ann paints full time from her home based studio

Water, nature’s unpredictable, spontaneous and most magical element, provides an enduring fascination represented in Ann’s paintings.
