Heather Leonard is a professional artist who has great success, winning several art awards and exhibiting widely.

Mostly self-taught, it was a return to college as an adult student where a term of Life Drawing classes sparked her interest in painting people.

Since then Heather has focused solely on the human form, portraying personality and personal relationships with her brush.

The candid humour of her groups is wonderful, often enabling the viewer to identify with the characters.
