Collection: Julie Whyman

Julie Whyman is a self taught artist, who enjoys working within the boundaries of acrylic and pastel.  She has had a love of arts and craft since childhood, and through practice and exploration, having discovered her natural ability for painting.

She is attracted to vibrant colour and form found in nature, and her paintings are a colourful, beautiful expression of her own style. It is important to her that they are of excellent quality.

Her work is held in private collections throughout New Zealand, America and Germany, and sold in galleries in the Waikato and Coromandel.  She participates regularly in exhibitions and art shows nationally.  She was awarded the 2013 Cliftons Art Prize, Auckland.
