Collection: Lynden Over

Lynden Over has studied glass extensively.

He completed a Diploma of Applied Arts at the Northland Polytechnic majoring in Jewellery and Glass.

On completion of his studies he rented a local glass studio and developed his own range of collectable pieces.

He has worked in studios alongside some of New Zealand’s top glass blowers including Peter Viesnik, John Penman and the late Lynette Campbell.

In 2002 Lynden opened Lava Glass Studio near Taupo where he works with a small but talented team producing some very exciting studio glass.

He uses a technique of trailing coloured glass in layers to create a rich painterly look. Each piece is totally unique.
