Winter Glow

Winter Glow captures the serene beauty of New Zealand’s farmland bathed in the soft, golden light of a late afternoon sunset.  The fields and grasses are dusted with this light, shimmering under the gentle glow.  Rolling hills stretch into the distance, dotted with trees and rustic fences, evoking a sense of peaceful solitude.  The sky, painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple reflects this light, creating a mesmerizing interplay of colours.  This painting embodies the quiet breathtaking charm of a winter’s evening in the New Zealand countryside.

A large 40" x 40" (1016 mm x 1016 mm) Oil Painting on Professional Canvas 1.45" wide (37 mm).  Finished beautifully front and back.  Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen.

Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading and can be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth.

 This painting has many oil layers that build up the colours and depth.  This comes ready to hang.  Prints may be made from this original painting.

This painting was completed in 2024.  The reference image I took whilst visiting family in St Arnaud, South Island, New Zealand with the colours edited to bring out the warmth.
