Collection: Mike Millet

Mike Millett lives with his wife and son in a small rural community in Hawkes Bay.

He was born and raised in the area but as a young man spent three years living in Samoa. This gave him a sense of New Zealand’s place within the wider Pacific.

His skills as a maker have been honed through a formal jewellery apprenticeship and the practical disciplines of rural working life-metalwork, carpentry and a conscientious approach to the task at hand.

This translates into pieces of exceptional workmanship, often exhibiting a deceptive simplicity which belies the patient hours spent perfecting the design and then creating the piece.
