"Rain fell the day before & helped me a great deal, as it cleared the hazy summer air & allowed this crystal clear day to develop - just as the delicate pohutukawa flowers were at their best. It made a perfect backdrop for a stunning afternoon & this scene really sums up what I think of when I dream of summer. Definitely what holidays at the beach are all about."
